Rogue Yoga is a vinyasa based practice that targets every muscle of your body. We practice in the heat (not too hot!) keeping the muscles warm and spread steamers throughout releasing moisture in the air. Different essential oils are released through the steamer, awakening the spirit and relaxing the mind!
Every class is a different experience and no routine is every the same! We start with our focus on the Ujjayi breath. Moving into our core poses we include warriors, chataronga’s, side planks, balancing half moon and various lunges and twists. We also include some more challenging moves like crane or eagle. Our core is always working, and to give them an extra burn we may add some V-ups or scissor leg lifts.
Our cool down lenghtens every muscle through various poses that takes us into relaxation. Relaxation is the most important part of our practice at Rogue Yoga. At the end of our session we relax the mind and body by centering ourselves on the mat and relaxing every muscle completely. We take this time for ourselves to focus on the things we are thankful for in our lives, and then take that contentment with us off of the mat.
